Lennon McCarthy

Lennon McCarthy BS, BA, ACSM EP-C, Functional Movement Specialist

Lennon's journey into the field of Fitness and Wellness has been long and rather unexpected. Always the "fat kid" in grade school, middle school, and high school, he had no idea about the importance of exercise, healthy eating, and staying active.  After a couple more years of inactivity, bad diet, and poor lifestyle choices, Lennon ballooned to nearly 360 lbs.  He will never forget the day he woke up and decided not to live like that any longer.  So, rather than fall deeper into an unhealthy lifestyle, Lennon decided it was time to take control of his life; it was time to get healthy.  He moved to Denver, hired a Personal Trainer and, since then, has not looked back.

Currently, Lennon has six years of experience working as a Personal Trainer and Wellness Professional.  He graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Exercise Science from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2015.  As a Certified Exercise Physiologist and Functional Exercise Specialist, Lennon excels in helping empower people to move better, make healthy lifestyle choices, and live full, healthy, gratifying, and successful lives.  Having gone through a huge transformation himself, Lennon fell in love with and developed a passion for Fitness and Wellness. His journey from fat to fit gives Lennon a unique perspective on making healthy life changes through healthy life choices.  His methods have helped and continue to help dozens upon dozens of people live well.

Lennon was raised in the small mountain town of Frisco, CO and has lived in Denver for the past 13 years.  He is a die hard Nuggets and Broncos fan.  In his spare time he enjoys being active with his wife and dogs; preferably outdoors.  To stay fit, Lennon uses Functional Training methods and makes sure to fuel his body with proper nutrition.  He also enjoys playing basketball and tennis with his friends.
